Even in a two-income family, and most certainly in a one-income family, another income provides a certain peace of mind in turbulent times.

 An e-business, also known as an internet business, is one of the easiest ways to accomplish this for at least three good reasons. An internet business is inexpensive to start, inexpensive to run, and has the potential for unlimited growth. Let's explore each of these in depth.

 An e-business can be started without renting a storefront, without hiring employees, and without investing in inventory. These are the three capital-sappers of traditional businesses, and make traditional businesses a headache to run, tremendously expensive to fail, and frankly, out of the reach of most people to start. An e-business requires minimal equipment and investment: a computer, an internet connection, a product of some kind. This can even be an e-product, such as an ebook or video download, which reduces the investment even further. An e-business doesn't even require a website and hosting fees! Affiliate marketing and blogging are making thousands for people who do not have a website associated with their product. Talk about minimal costs and maximum return; this is one way to build an income even more cheaply!

 Accordingly, an e-business doesn't empty your pockets to run, either. If it takes awhile to tweak the process while you learn, you won't have to turn out the lights or let an employee go. You can learn what is and isn't producing a return, make adjustments, and persevere. You can continue learning from others by joining forums and blogs, asking questions, sifting through advice, and trying new marketing ideas. You can read dozens of free reports and ebooks authored by self-named gurus and glean a brainstorm that may be the one to set booster rockets to your income.

 An e-business has unlimited potential for growth. This is that part of internet marketing that really excites me. Once you have an income producing blog or website, you can add to that as much as your creativity will allow. It is deliciously simple to create a new ebook on a topic, associate a product with it through affiliate marketing, make a video or CD teaching the concepts in the ebook, put a video on YouTube to tease viewers about your products, set up a coaching program, mentor others, joint venture with others, and then start again with a new product.

 Therefore, an e-business is a perfect avenue to develop another stream of income for days of financial turmoil and beyond.

Bens Marketing Magic

The Auctioneer
The Auctioneer

Twas battered and scarred, and the auctioneer
Thought it scarcely worth his while
To waste much time on the old violin,
But held it up with a smile.
"What am I bidden, good folks," he cried,
Who will start bidding for me?
A dollar, a dollar then Two! Only two?
Two dollars, and who'll make it three?
Three dollars once; three dollars twice;
Going for three--But no,
From the room, far back, a gray haired man
Came forward and picked up the bow;
Then wiping the dust from the old violin,
And tightening the loose strings,
As sweet as a caroling angel sings.

The music ceased and the auctionneer,
With a voice that was quiet and low,
Said, "what am i bidden for the old violin?"
And he held it up with the bow.
"A thousand dollars, and who'll make it two?
Two thousand!
